This album was the perfect soundtrack for long summer days. It radiates positivity, playfulness, and inspiration for easy listening and good vibes. Brat and the remix album could not be missed on this year's favorite albums. Originally released on June 7th, Brat took over the summer, and it was so fun to experience the album with friends. Charli’s massive success with Brat is well-deserved and has been a long time coming. After years of revolutionizing pop and club music, this album landed at the perfect time to be loved and praised by many. The techno-infused hyper-pop production, paired with Charli’s entrancing lyrics and soulful voice, makes this an easy album to obsess over. Getting a glimpse Charli’s world through Brat is a treat; if you haven’t yet explored her lengthy discography, you will find many more gems. Brat and it’s completely different but it’s also still Brat is a whole new album with incredible features and new production on every track - a must-listen. Doechii’s storytelling, vulnerability, and unmatched flow paired with the immaculate production will send you to a world you won’t want to leave. This album has been on heavy rotation and has become an all-time favorite. Favorite tracks: Death Roll and GTFO
The sophomore album from LP Giobbi is nothing short of a journey through life and love. Featuring dreamy synths, LP’s signature piano riffs, beautiful vocalists, and an incredible arrangement. LP is a leader in electronic music, co-founding Femme House, a non-profit helping women and non-binary artists connect with resources for producing music and DJing. Favorite EPs of 2024
Mia Koden, formerly in the duo Sicaria Sound, released a solo 3-track EP in April. Dub-infused and full of grooves, this EP was easy to put into rotation. Mia first released a 100% original mix tape and asked listeners to vote on their three favorite tracks, which she compiled into “3 4 U” and released to the world. Favorite Track: Wait a Minute
HoneyBees 5-track EP Herewith is a portal into a lush soundscape with synthy melodies and deep bass lines, all beautifully arranged in a cohesive sequence of tracks. Favorite Track: Cascading Feilds of Chamomille
Shy Girl - Club Shy (EP)
Shy Girl introduced her Club Shy project in 2023, with a few singles later to be included in her EP released in March. Euro club sounds heavily influence this high-energy EP.
